If you are black please don't insure your assets with Santam insurance. They will show you flames. I insured my house for R1.5m when I had a claim they told me to build my house it will cost R6.8m yet I still have the quotation for what I paid when I was building it. All costs are not above R1.3m even inflated from the time I built it. They told me about being under insured. Where would I get R6.8m to build a house. The claim was below R200k but they offered me R30k. What can I do with R30k yet the cost to build are close to R200k?
