3rd party claim - pathetic service

Santam's client drove into my car over 5 months ago (2015/01/15). I had to drive around to find panel beaters to quote on my car. Even panel beaters contracted to Santam does not want to quote when they hear it is a 3rd party claim for Santam. If you pay R650 for a quote, then they are willing to quote. I eventually got 3 quotes, 1 for R8500.00 and two for R10500.00, within two weeks from the accident and I submitted the required documents to Zama, underwriters for Santam. 2015/05/06 (5 months later!!! After sending numerous emails) Santam legal department came with an offer to settle R1272.00 (full and final settlement) I wonder what what they expect me to repair on the car for that money. Their calculations are ridiculous. The best part of all is that to date, even after more than 5 months, no-one from Santam has even seen the car, except for on a photo. Their customer service is pathetic, especially the legal representative Rozannah Sigh (whose very rude) , who sent the settlement letter. I have never received such bad service is my life!!! <br>
