3RD Party Claim Complaint

On the 26th July 2015 I took my wife and kids to the Sonneike Shopping Mall in Kuils River. My wife's car, a 2014 Ford Fiesta, was parked at the parking are. When we came out of the Mall the car was badly damaged and hit by a BMW in front. Luckily the owner of the vehicle didnt run, called the cops and all necessities done. We decided to go for a 3rd party claim through his insurance which is Santam. The claim was registered on the 29th July 2015. We submitted a repair quite from Danmar Autobody Cape Town which assessed the repairs to be approximately R83000. It took them more than 2 week to finally come back to us with an offer from their assessment.

They have come back to us and said the car is a write off. They are valuing the car at Retail Value = R150000, and Trade Value = R136000. They are taking the mean of the 2 values which means a value of R142000. They are also saying the salvage amount = R70000 (as they say we have to keep the car). Basically they are offering us R72000 cash which is way too low than the repair value.

Not sure what to do now.
