3rd party claim.

Santam's client drove into my wife's car over 2 months ago. I had to drive around to find panel beaters to quote on her car. Even panel beaters contracted to Santam does not want to quote when they hear it is a 3rd party claim for Santam. If you pay R650 for a quote, then they are willing to quote. I eventually got 2 quotes, 1 for R43000 and another for R38 000, within a week from the accident and submitted to Mantoline, underwriters for Santam. Yesterday Santam came with an offer to settle R13800 (full and final settlement) I wonder what what they expect me to repair on the car for that money. The best part of all is that to date, even after more than 2 months, no-one from Santam has even seen the car, except for on a photo.
