Worst ever place to get a personal loan. Try your bank

I app**** for a loan end December, not even a large loan, got approved as I thought I would as I earn enough and have a great credit record and received 2 quotes immediately on my app. They phoned me to check which option I will take and then I asked them to look into the interest rate and see what they can do. TEN (10) minutes after that phone call I received an sms that I was declined a loan. I phone them, they apologized and said they will discard the note and get someone to phone me to apply again. Huh? Have been waiting on that call for 2 1/2 weeks now. Mailed them 4 times but nothing. If this happens again when I try end January I will take up another offer at my bank and cancel my current loan with them. Ridiculous.
