Will not release my unclaimed benifits

I have an unclaimed benefit with Sanlam - they have advised me it takes 6 - 12 weeks since the submission of the documents, which it has been, it has been 12 weeks, yet no payment, I have emailed them but received no response, I have phoned them 3 times in the last week, only to be told, it still has to be sent to SARS, today they tell me, it can take another month, how do you guys work? first 6 - 12 weeks, now I've waited 12 weeks, now I must wait another month?
