WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A GAP COVER..............

I submitted a claim on the 3rd of January for under my Sanlam GAP cover that took more than a month to be looked into. The service experienced was pathetic to say the least. A single claim that was handled by numerous consultants with no feedback in the process, only to be requesting outstanding documents for things already submitted that I eventually spoke to manager by the name of Lamiez Alexander who assured me that the claim will be escalated and only to be surprised by the rejection letter received via email for an exclusion that is not even noted on their policy document. I need someone to call me and explain the basis of the exclusion that led to the rejection of the claim or also to direct me on which part of the policy wording is the exclusion noted.
