Waste of time and money

I submitted a claim in October with all the supporting documents for a hospitalization. There was a shortfall that my medical aid did not pay despite me using a network hospital. Sanlam's response was to have a very trivial document be completed by the surgeon before they could process the claim. I submitted it to the Dr and after multiple emails to him he did not complete this document, which was communicated with sanlam... their response was to resubmit the entire claim again!!!! I have reached my limit of tolerance. I cannot be paying for a service Sanlam finds every excuse not to deliver. I've wasted time and effort submitting all I could. Complete waste of money! Rather take my money elsewhere to a provider that will deliver the service I actually pay for.

I hope you have also investigated the part where I communicated to report that despite muliple attempts to get the doctor to complete the required document, there is no reponse from him. This all seems like an excuse not to process the claim, honestly. The orthopedic issue was not the main reason for the admission nor the reason for its duration. No attempt is made to assist me with this regard, I have really done all I could and submitted all the documents required on my part. If Sanlam cannot provide the service I am paying for, I will gladly take my money elsewhere and leave my reviews on forums where other consumers may be warned about this service.
