VERY VERY POOR Service Delivery
I already requested SANLAM early in October to convert my annuity policy to a Living annuity and have one third paid-out as per the normal stipulations. My request was registered on their system on 16 October 2021 and it was indicated on their system that the request will be finalized by 8 November 2021. Tomorrow will be ONE MONTH later and I'm still waiting for the pay-out of the requested one third. Ridiculous to say the least.

15 Nov 2021, 12:26SANLAM Client Service did contact me, only to tell me that they are busy with the "Tax simulation" of my request. I then responded that it cannot be true as according to their system the "Tax simulation" was already completed on 15 October 2021.
SANLAM responded saying that those figures and calculations were incorrect and it is for this reason that they have to do it again.
What is very strange to me is the fact that I followed up with Sanlam last week to get an update on my request and I was just told SHORT AND SWEET, that they are busy with it and it is a long process. Furthermore, if they requested a "Tax simulation" again because of the incorrect figures, WHY does this "Tax simulation" not appear on their system as the previous one did?
They just moved the finalization date from 8th November 2021 to 19th November 2021on their system, without giving ANY reason why this date was now extended.
What is the use of a tracking system when clients cannot see the "actual" tracking/updates on the system, just the movement of dates.
Totally unacceptable.

16 Nov 2021, 13:03Update: I received a call from Sanlam to confirm that my request was finalized and that payment will still take place this week.
I also received an e-mail from Sanlam with the relevant documentation attached. I would like to thank Faizel Weels from Sanlam Client Care for his intervention to get this done and dusted.
