Very poor service from Sanlam
Dear Sanlam Claim department
I am writing to follow up on a claim i submitted on the 5th of May 2025. On the 18 May I contacted by forensic department on behalf of Sanlam and capitec. Since then I have not receiving SMSes stating that Sanlam is waiting for an inquest report to proceed with my claim. The detective who signed the reports has confirmed in an affidavit”That there is no inquest report available at this stage because the suspect remain unknown and therefore the inquest verdict is not yet available”.This affidavit was submitted to Sanlam to clarify the situation. When can i expect my claim to be finalised and have the money released.
It is deeply concerning that the claim is being delayed due to s report that cannot exist Under these circumstances, and the fact that all the claimants that are Babalwa Sithathu my cousin and my aunt Siziwe Sithathu and my other cousin Andile Mgqobela who claimed for Lisakhanya January the deceased got payed, it’s just my sister Oyama Tube and I have been asked for the inquest report. This inconsistency is troubling and makes me question the fairness and transparency of the claim process. Please treat this matter as urgent and provide an update earliest convenience
For more information you can contact Mrs Jinikwe Police investigator her contact number is +27 (79) *** and the case number is 125/03/2025
