************

I took out an RA with Sanlam and realized recently I am losing money with this RA. Sanlam does not have a copy of the contract that I signed but wants to hold me liable for penalties. So they are discouraging me from wanting to cancel, I am losing money with their investment, they don't have a signed contract agreement. How can this be legal? Normally when a customer disputes something with a company the company provides a signed contract copy and shows their customer you ''signed here here and here for these penalties'' but not Sanlam. It is sad that I have been saving so long only to realize years down the line I am actually losing. So THEY chose bad unit trusts and still want to penalize me for cancelling plus they can't provide proof of the agreement. How ridiculous. Where does my penalty money go to? Charity? NPOs feeding the hungry? Climate change or what? This company is just *****ing me as best they can without a care in the world as to how I had to sacrifice to saving this money

South Africa needs to know that your company wants to charge penalties for a policy you do not have a signed contract for. Surely this cannot be legal. I will not leave it like this. I ask direct questions and all your company does is choose not to reply to these direct questions. Perhaps you can answer. Can your company enforce T&cs with no signed contract?
