Unreliable! Reconsider doing any kind of business with Sanlam! The famous name tricks you into thinking it's trustworthy

My experience with Sanlam has been nothing short of disappointing. Last month I couldn't get assistance after trying all possible paths, I had to resort to reviewing them publicly to finally get assistance, which was still delayed.

This month I return with another issue! On the 31st of August I decided to terminate my savings account with them, filled in all required forms without delay. I was promised to receive my money on the 10th of September. Having previously experienced their unprofessional ways, I didn't really trust this, so leading up to the day, on the 7th, I wanted confirmation if we're still on track for that, especially considering that the day is approaching and the account still seems to be active. I was reassured that the request is being attended to, on track and would be resolved on the promised day. Guess what, one more time, they failed to keep their word. It's almost as if they pride themselves in being unreliable!

And I know now that I'm definitely not getting my money on the promised day, they will only act now that I've come here, my funds will only be received later next week. After having given them well over a week to sort it out, my life has to be on pause for an extra week! I needed MY money this week!

Painfully poor experience.
