Unreasonable demands and missing payout for Claim No: ***6

I am lodging a formal complaint regarding Assupol's unacceptable handling of Claim and the refusal to supply standard transaction proof. Assupol confirmed that funds for this claim were paid out on 20 August 2026 into a newly opened First National Bank (FNB) Late Estate account. To date, the funds have still not reflected. To resolve the delay, I requested an official Proof of Payment (POP) so FNB could trace the transaction. Instead, Assupol demanded that I first submit a full monthly bank statement to prove the funds were not received. This requirement is illogical and unfeasible for two reasons: Account Recency: The Late Estate account was opened on 13 August 2026—at Assupol’s direct request to process this claim. A full monthly statement cycle does not exist yet. Zero Account Activity: No other transactions have occurred on this account. The initial opening statement already provided to Assupol confirms the account is active and correct. It is standard corporate procedure for the paying entity to provide a bank-issued POP containing a tracking reference so the receiving bank can locate the funds. Demanding a customer prove a negative via an unavailable monthly statement while withholding the transaction receipt creates an artificial impasse.
