Unnatural death Claim not paid and it is almost two months

My step brother got shot on the 30 June 2023, I submitted accidental claim on the 6 July 2023, I receive a message to tell me claim has gone for further assessments, yes an investigator came to my mother to get further information which he did n submitted the report that was in July, I never received any communication after from assupol, I had to call my self and I would be told that it's still being assessed. When I was with the consultant I was never made aware that assupol unnatural death claims would time Two months for payout, I was only made aware of 24-48 hours payout, and for accident or unnatural causes you are covered immediately. It is so disappointing to have such big company with celebrity such as CONNIE FERGUSON advertising on television yet we get such horrible service.
