Unfairly treated
Hi my late husband has a trust fund with Sanlam, l receive a monthly maintenance for my son. The maintenance normally gets paid into my Nedbank cheque account which I have closed due to me voluntinrengly placing myself under debt review.
I have changed have sent communicate to Sanlam with all supporting documents and updated bank account details for the new details and even asked for the lady by the name of Lihle to confirm that she has received all the documents and updated account details, which she never responded back to me.
To my horror the March maintenance money was paid into my Nedbank account and I am struggling to get the money back.
I tried calling Sanlam which there seems to be not contact because the numbers just rings which is very frustrating. I sent numerous emails and no one responded.
April's maintenance money was not paid so I sent emails and tried calling again and still there was no response success.
To my horror I received an email this morning saying that the money is paid into the Nedbank account which I repeatedly said was closed.
This is so frustrating and unfair, I am currently having such a battle getting back the money that Sanlam has paid into that account in March and now what needs to happen with the April maintenance, who is going to help me get all this monies from Nedbank.
This is so frustrating and unfair. How can such a big company like Sanlam have so many employees that are sitting in the the office not pick up the the phone when a customer calls or even return a call to a customer on request. They don't care about there customers.
I am so devastated because this is my child's maintenance money to support him with food and other needs that's why it's called a maintenance.
Can someone please help can Sanlam have some kind of humanity to their customers.
Sanlam the people that you have representing you are really not interested in your customers well being
