UNAUTHORISED Duplicate of debit order cause havoc

I am very angry at Sanlam deciding to duplicate a debit order on November 30 - R2,698.18 and again on December 3rd - R2,647.20 without my approval. <br> <br> I have numerous times tried to get Sanlam to debit my account on the 3rd or 6th of every month for R3000 to pay off my loan, have spoken to various people to do this. <br> <br> I am not sure what happened, the last guy I spoke to assured me he will ensure the run is on the 3rd. To my shock, pn 30th November R2,698.18 was taken off my account, another debit order of R2,647.20 was run on December 3rd causing major havoc since I other important debit orders did not go through which left my account in a real mess and also incurred unpaid bank penalties and obviously affect my credit record. <br> <br> We have checked previous months, NO debit order was unpaid, previously arranged R3000 paid while I was on the phone, gave your Sanlam consultant my card details to facilitate payment.<br> <br> I have taken a decision to block Sanlam from any kind of debit order going forward, meaning, you will ONLY receive payment via EFT, have spoken to my bank and will take action against Sanlam if any debit order date, your name or amount changes.
