Un happy client

I took out a I Cover funeral cover, Policy no: *** for my brother Elroy Phillips who have a psychological spell at times the cover I'm revering to was taken out at Checkers Benoni in 2011, to my surprise when I called them in September I was told that the cover got canceled after 10 years. I made a payment before I was told that story what the person told me that the cover got canceled after 10 years I was never informed about that. She told me if I want the policy to continue I must call Sanlam at Cape Town office to continue with the cover so that there won't be a waiting period for my brother. The thing I want to understand is why didn't sanlam contact me because I have been pay this policy for 10 good years now all my payments is gone just like that no no no. Sanlam must refund me some of my payments what kind of a funeral cover is this that get canceled after 10 years without notifying me. I need my money back this is like I'm donating all my R44.95 for this 10 years. Can you please have a look at this for me, I'm not going to leave this matter just like this. How many people like me is Sanlam ******** out there whit this policies we take out and are not told that it will be canceled after certain amount of years.
