*****ulent debt
I worked for Sanlam as a financial advisor in 2018 and resigned the same year,I was contacted in 2019 and was told that I owe them money for policies that lapsed,I made an arrangement to pay.I’ve been paying this debt R500 every month consistently for over 4 years,I don’t even know what I’m paying for,I don’t get any correspondence from Sanlam,it feels like day light *******,I’ve decided to stop the payment from this month and I’m being taken for a ride and involve attorneys

18 Feb 2025, 15:50The finance department and their attorneys sent me a statement to say that I now owe them R81,0000 they’ve added attorneys fees.clearly this is a money making scheme.
No one contacted me after I resigned,I only received letters from Le roux attorneys and I made arrangements to pay,now I’m liable for another law firms fees which is over R50,000?
I’ve paid the company over R30,000 and I’m told that I owe R81,000?
I really need to warn people about working for this company.
