Turnaround time a lie
I app**** for the two pot on the 6th of September and the SMS update showed that it was in the payment date with a turnaround time of 5 working days. I called SARS to confirm when the tax application was made and confirmed it was confirmed on the 9th. So honestly I don't know anymore what is the holdup and the call centre agents are completely clueless. This is really unprofessional.

21 Sept 2024, 01:55I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. I have stated in my complaint that:
1) I have contacted SARS and they confirmed that the tax application was made on the 9th of September 2024 and approved by them on the same day. On that same day at 14:57 I received an SMS update from Sanlam Corporate stating that my claim was in the payment stage and that I'd receive the funds WITHIN 5 DAYS (Verbatim)
2) That turnaround time has passed so I need to know WHAT IS THE HOLDUP??? And when exactly will I receive that money in my account????
I'm not interested in stories about having an influx of matters, this is not a surprise, everyone knew that claims would begin this month so I don't expect excuses...
