They keep playing run around no help
Dear Sanlam Corporate, I am lodging a formal complaint regarding my Sanlam Provident Fund claim (Ref: wf_***1), originally submitted on 28 January 2026. The required employer information (exit confirmation and Section 37D feedback) was submitted by my employer on 23 March 2026, yet the SARS tax directive has still not been submitted, and my payment remains outstanding. This claim has now been pending for over 43 working days, far exceeding the FSCA’s 30-day guideline. Previous follow-ups, including through email and Twitter, have not resulted in a clear timeline or resolution. I request the following urgent actions: Confirm receipt of employer submission Submit the SARS tax directive immediately Provide a definitive timeline for payment Complaint *** I hope Sanlam will treat this matter as a priority. Thank you, Learongwa Mo****di *** mo*******

My claim was submitted on 28 January 2026, and it has now been over 43 working days, far exceeding the expected processing timeframe.
My employer already submitted the required exit confirmation and Section 37D information on 23 March 2026, yet Sanlam continues to delay, now citing “legal review” without any clear timeline.
I have escalated this matter through multiple channels, including direct complaints, Twitter, and regulatory bodies such as the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator.
Despite this, I am still not receiving clear answers — only repeated automated responses and vague timelines.
This level of service is unacceptable.
I now request the following urgent action:
Immediate confirmation that all employer documents have been received
Immediate submission of my SARS tax directive
A clear and final payment date

If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will continue escalating it through all available regulatory and public channels.

My employer submitted all required documents on 23 March 2026, yet Sanlam has still not submitted the SARS tax directive, which is delaying payment.
