THE WORST ACCOUNT HANDLING BY FAR
I am in absolute shock about the response I got today from my new financial advisor Mashudu Ravali. First of all, I joined sanlam because the financial advisor that came to me was friendly Zinzi, little did I know she didnt even listen to anything I said and she told me so much lies but anyway. My first debit order from this company for my life cover and retirement fund was on the 25th , keep in mind that I get paid on the 31st of each month and I remember stating that clearly to her and I wrote that down in the forms that my debit order should be on the 1st cause I'll be paid by then, but nooo because she had already made her sale and not affected by a random debit order where I dont have money to spare she was not taking my calls or responding to my emails to fix their mistake , she ONLY responded to me on whatsapp after a month of trying her because she was commenting on my ring asking if I am getting married and I asked her how is it her business when she cant even get back to me about this debit order mistake?! Well, she responded to me apologizing telling me shes not working for sanlam anymore so she gave my account to Thomas. Thats the first mistake, how does your financial advisor leave or hand over your account without telling you??? I accepted that because she said this Thomas will call me. Guess what, I was the one that ended up calling and his excuse for not calling was personal problems which i really couldn't care less because the second debit order went on the 25th and I was inconvenienced AGAIN! After a week of trying to resolve the issue he tells me theres a mistake because someone else is actually handling my account. Is that not the worst service you can get as a client though??? Then this new financial advisor emails me which is great but the THIRD debit order went on the 25th and now I was ****ed off, I sent him a long email but he told me I am supposed to sign forms that request to change my debit order date which I absolutely hated because why must I deal with paper work again when the mistake was on their side and not my problem. So its fine, I sign the papers and scan them anyway. But guess what, today I wake up to a fat debit order, mind you its the 28th and I asked for this to be on the 25th. When I check my emails they said I sent a wrong account number. Please tell me how when they conveniently have the right one when they have to debit my account but the wrong one when I need to be assisted, plus the form I filled was only to sign and the rest was done by my ''financial advisor'', so how is that my problem. So I email my advisor to ask him why is there such a transaction from sanlam and today after I have asked so many times for it to be when my account actually has money, where do I get R1418 on the 28th when I get paid on the 31st, or is sanlam expecting to have spare money for their inconsistent debit orders? The respond from Mashudu was shocking, he has the nerve to give me attitude as as client, does he not know how to be calm and talk to a client with respect regardless of how he feels because its easy for him not to understand my frustration since his account is not being debited and the money bounces back because of insufficient funds then my bank charges me R180 for transactions that do not go through. Honestly, I am tired of feeling like this company and their financial advisors are doing me a favour , I need my account with their cancelled asap!
