terrible incompentancy!!!
I was RETRENCHED at my work place. I have submitted all relevant documentation to claim my pension fund pay-out. it has been 2 months of phone calls and no pay-out!!!!! so RETRENCHEMENT means no money / no salary/ NIKS!!! so this money is required!!!!!!! 1st issue Sanlam cannot see if it was retrenchment or early retirement or dismissal.. REALLYY?????? as per document 2-4 clearly marked as RETRENCHMENT!!!!!! AND AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS STATING RETRENCHMENT!!!! 2nd issue - divorce claim .... UM I have been divorced since 2005- I am not in the process to get divorced !!! ''Where a member’s service with his/her employer was terminated before the date on which the divorce order was granted. This is because the member will no longer have a “pension interest” to award to the ex-spouse on the date of divorce'' 3rd issue: waiting for a responds from my previous employer!!!! why??? I don't work for them anymore...so ? why do they have a say??? so in the last 2 months all these issues and not once did Sanlam pick up the phone to contact me or send me and e-mail to advise of the delays or issues with my claim!! on Monday 19/08/2019 I was advised all sorted my money will reflect 23/08/2019 - now? today 23/08/2019 guess what? contacted Sanlam again SAME old story waiting for feedback from my ex employer (WHO RETRENCHED ME)to confirm early retirement or Retrenchment......now how can a person be calm and not react to this level of incompetency!!!!
