Struggles with Assupol

My name is Siya Bruintjies,my father passed on 2022 and on his policies I am the beneficiary.I couldn't claim at the time as I was 16 so my family decided not to claim on my behalf but rather paid for the funeral and I promised to pay them back.Upon claiming as the beneficiary I'm now told by Assupol that I need a letter of authority.Even the advisor assisting me could not understand why since I'm the beneficiary.I write this to alert everyone on how their beneficiaries will struggle should they pass away.Im going on all socials to spread this awareness as I am sure a lot of people are unaware of this.
