STILL WAITING FOR PAYMENT

19 AUGUST , we decided to take up our RA with SANLAM. At first they provided a quote within 3 days , where a lump sum would be paid and the rest invested with them. We also requested quotes with other companies, and decided to transfer the income share to another company. We completed the forms and it was handed in by our adviser. After a week, SANLAM had still not responded with any feedback. After a week of enquieries, they rep**** that the adviser was not our listed adviser, and that they can't provide info ( where they did a week ago), then after another request , they sent the wrong form and finally the correct form. We understand from here it takes about 48 hours to get tax clearance and then payment of the lump sum can be made. ALL forms were received by SANLAM on 07 / 09 / 2015, on 11 / 09 / 2015, they confirmed no outstanding requirements, but finalization date 29 / 09 /2015, so a process that takes 7 days at other companies take 3 weeks with them. Today, when the adviser did a follow up specifically regarding the one third, the call center said, they will only start working on it 29 / 09 / 2015. Absolutely ridiculous service. ARE YOU DELAYING ON PURPOSE?
