Spammers (sms and email), won't adhere to unsubscribes

I keep getting spam smses from them, unsubscribing does nothing (even though I get a reply saying I won't receive more), spoke to a friend in the industry and he said he had the same thing with emails from Assupol, unsubscribing didn't work so he had to block their domain. I'd never used or heard of them before, nor do I EVER consent to marketing materials from any company.
