Sanlam unclaimed benefits fund and Sure-Datatrace

My Aunts family has been contacted by a company named Sure-Datatrace, which deals with tracing relatives of people who were working for Impala mine and now are deceased. There are some documents that they needed and the family asked me to verify the legitimacy of the call and the company. I then went to Sanlam's website under unclaimed benefits fund. The number that is listed by Sanlam on the website is not working ( ***). I wrote an email to via their website under unclaimed benefits and no reply.

Sanlam has listed two tracing companies on their website, The Data Factory and ICTS Tracing Services.

Can Sanlam confirm that the company Sure-Datatarce is contracted to them and also clarify why documents must be sent to the tracing company and not Sanalam as their are there ones that will be paying the unclaimed benefits. Secondly the company needed documents like Tax number of the deceased, I'm of the view that such should be available to Sanlam as they must apply for a tax directive and the Impalas human resources would have provided such information to Sanlam as their have all the deceased IRP5 information.
