Sanlam Trust not to be trusted
Sanlam trust is robbing us of our inheritance. Miss Tanuja Peters has been giving the run around when ever we call in regards to the settling of our mothers estate.
Mom had a life cover which paid out R301 000 into Sanlam trust account. She said she would have to settle her debts before we could receive anything thing as her children.
It has been two years, she has not even paid one account. But she is insisting that they is a short fall of R71000.How does one calculate debts and concludes that there is a short fall without even paying one creditor.
I called her for an explanation yesterday and she would not come up with a straight answer. She kept on telling me that I must bear in mind that the money is accumulating interest. We don't care about the interest, we just want to sort out the estate so we could move forward with our lives.
I don't trust Sanlam any more as a result of this experience I have cancelled my policies and life cover with them.
