Sanlam tarnished by Direct Axis

Hi

Some insight into my recent application for a loan at Direct Axis Via Sanlam.

1. I receive an e-mail from Sanlam and complete the application on Sanlam's website and receive attached letter from Nicki Hill on a Sanlam letterhead, yet she works at Direct Axis... 2. I receive an sms notifying me that my application has been approved, requesting me to call them. Upon phoning them I get told that someone is on my app and that they will call me back. I wait 4 hours... 3. I call again, I am told that proof of income is required. 4. I send a detailed e-mail WITH bank statements confirming all my sources of income. 5. I receive ANOTHER call from DA requesting that I must explain my attachments! I mention that all the info is in the mail. Consultant then informs me that their system only transfers the attachments and not the e-mail or content thereof! 6. I then continue to do the application and T&C's on 3 separate calls. Without my request consultant start speaking the worst possible Afr with me. I request that he continues in Eng rather. These 3 calls 46 min in total! 7. Not ONE e-mail address provided by DA on their letter works!

Overall, i have the following general opinion: 1. Your process flows are archaic 2. Your staff are not well trained 3. When I pay an interest rate of 25%, I expect superior service.
