Sanlam takes 1 Year of Premiums after you die... it's in their fine print!
Sanlam took one year's of premiums after my dad died. They state its in the fine print of the policy. So after my dad paying for years for a policy that only pays out R203 000 they took a further R8910.30 saying they are entitled to. I will never suggest Sanlam for a Life Cover.

07 Nov 2023, 12:40This is what Sanlam says... how do they pay a policy in advance????
- Sanlam paid the plan in advance for a year, every year.
- When we received a monthly payment, we credited Sanlam’s account as the plan was already paid.
- The planholder passed away in month 2 of the twelve months and therefore, 10 months was deducted from the cover amount.
- R891.03 x 10 = R8 910.30
