SANLAM, stands for RUN

SANLAM means run, disabled and found to be disabled by my own doctors and those that the employer sent me to for evaluations. Final recommendation by all you are to going on ill health retirement as per our medical evaluations by the medical evaluators that my employer sent me. Along comes SANLAM and they disregard everyone's finding, that I am unable to continue working and want to send me for more evaluations to their own doctors that I must pay for. This is nothing but ridiculous and a disgrace, are you SANLAM going to provide me with employment, or cure me. All I actually required was for you to stick to your promises and continue paying my retirement annuity policy as you promised you would do if the day comes that it might be required from you to do so. At first I was told that I did not have that extra cover in place, only for you to return with a apology that states that you were wrong and I was right. So let us skip all this and please inform me when I can start my employment by you. I know it is a bad way to start a new career with your new employer, but I consider myself as a employee of SANLAM now. But I truly appreciate your willingness to employ me and my ailments. Now I can also tell people I don't see your policy on our system. Then when I finally see it and say that the clients are incorrect and that the doctors of Alexander Forbes and Metropolitan health are not callable to access you. What makes your doctors so great that I even have to pay to be assessed by them. Does it mean if I pay them "enough" that you are going to keep your empty promises? Have any of you ever heard anyone say how grateful they were that they had this or that policy? The only policies that people are grateful for are funeral policies. I am just grateful that I did not throw more of my hard earned money at SANLAM's products. Those that are struggling with similar issues, you owe it to your fellow man to inform them of what to expect. I have seen this countless times, but dead men can't fight and you can't fight for them, because your name is not in that contract. You have been warned and informed. I always wonders what happens to the brokers, because they just disappear. For those of you that are struggling with this company due to the loss of a loved one, my heart really goes out to you. I know it is difficult, but give SANLAM a hard time, because they really deserve it. SANLAM I don't even request, demand or expect a response, it's beneath you.
