Sanlam Sick benefits

Sanlam Sick Benefits. Is it really beneficial? 7 Months ago i was Diagnosed with Listerial Brainstem Encephalitis. It is a virus that cause inflammation on your Brain. Unfortunately for me. It got my brain stem and it got to my central nerves system. I am very lucky to be alive today. Thanks to a very good Neurologist at Melomed. In the beginning of recovery i was unable to walk. I could not see properly and couldn't use my left arm. I have been temporarily disabled ever since. Trying to claim from the sick benefits is a no no. The reason we take sick benefits is for peace of mind. for moments like this. They seem to cover only the illnesses that is well known. Or if something leaves you permanently disabled. Temporary disability is just as bad, because Financially you can not keep up with everyday living. You need help with almost everything. So i would say that the sick benefits don't really work, because what am i paying for? When given this option. Please ask them to explain in detail. All that they cover. Realistically. This SOUNDS good, but is it? If there are companies out there that really cover yo with health. I would really like to know who it is. Thank you

Hi . Thank you for the reply. This was useless though. I would still urge people to look for other companies to cover them and make sure the clients best interest is important and not just trying to make extra money from people. Or people should find any other way to invest their money. Just don't pump it in to Sanlam. You will end up losing it.Big lesson learnt on this one. Learnt too late though. Just because they sound good don't mean it is good. Do proper research
