Sanlam required document cannot print

I just want to stipulate how difficult it is to do an online will with Sanlam. The drafting on the website is easy enough. But then they send the will to you in a PDF format that is password protected. Also fair enough. You just put in your ID no as a password and then the file opens. Not difficult.

But then.... They instruct you to print the will and sign and submit the original signed copy to the nearest Sanlam agent, (which my town do not have).

But this is where the problem lies: You select print to print the opened document and then an error message tells you: couldn't print this document as it's password protected.

I have sent a few emails to Sanlam concerning this and a friendly lady contacted me after a while and I explained the exact a above to her: that I can open the document with my ID no, but it won't allow me to print it. All pretty useless.

She told me she would sent me the document so I could print it from her e mail. It seems I never received her email.

This is ongoing for several months now, and if it is so difficult to do a will at Sanlam, then I don't know....

I don't need feedback or anything, just how dissapointment I, as a Sanlam client, are of the dis functionality of this product offered by Sanlam.

Today I will search elsewhere on the internet for a company that also offers free online wills, maybe Momentum or Old Mutual, or something.

I am sure they also will use password protected documents, but I am also sure they will not have the glitch that you cannot print it. And at least, Old Mutual has got two branches/agency's in my town.
