Sanlam policy claim

Good day,

On the 4 May 2016 I was attacked with a panga resulting in svere trauma, plastic surgery , stitches to my head and the loss of functionality to both hands. Damage done cannot be reversed as it severed bone and tendons. RH wrist is fused making writing difficult. Nevertheless all the OT reports and other specialist reports confirm this and all my other policies have paid out, so I would like to know why the big delay and dragging of this process. I was also married to a bipolar person so there was more than enough going on in my life even before I got attacked. Thats another book on its own. Do all insurances have to drag you through the mud before they payout. Its like standard practise.
