Sanlam Personal loans (Izwe)

<p>Hi ,</p> <p> </p> <p>I had a personal loan with Sanlam . The account was handed over to a collection agency in 2014 as I had personal problems. Sins July 2014 I made all my payment every month to the collection agency and the account was paid up in Dec 2016. I am in the process of applying for a home loan but have notice that my Sanlam account payment history on ITC was never updated and it showed 150 days no payment from July 2014 to Dec 2016 (every month). The account was updated as paid-up but the payment history was never updated and due to this I cannot apply for a home loan as it will be declined. I have been battling for the last 5 Months with this , I have been in contact with Transunion , and according to them they cannot assist me, I have to contact with Sanlam and they never got back to me. After 5 months and +-30 emails and 30 phone calls to the Sanlam/Direct axis I was told that my loan was done by Sanlam (Izwe). I contacted them and they said that they will contact me back , to date nothing. I have send them proof of statements that they send me indicating the payment history, I have send them paid-up letter. I have contacted the creditombud to assist me as this needs to happen urgently otherwise I will lose the house that I would like to buy. I am frustrated and don’t know where to turn to.</p> <p> </p> <p>Can anyone help.</p> <p> </p>
