Sanlam Non-Disclosure of Accidental Injury Benefit Terms

I got into an accident and claimed under the accidental injury benefit and my claim was declined because apparently they do not cover that, but it was not clearly stated to me. While I understand the stipulations outlined in the terms and conditions, I am dismayed that these specific exclusions were not clearly communicated to me when I signed the contract. Had I been aware that triceps rupture was not a listed claimable event, I would have made more informed decisions regarding my coverage.

I requested a clarification on why this critical detail was not highlighted initially and i did not get help.
