Sanlam - Never again!!

To whom it may concern,<br> <br> A few years ago I took out 2 blue stratus policy for investment purposes.. well due my financial situation at that time I could not carry on with the monthly contributions and defaulted of my investment payments. This was before the year 2000..Well on the 4th of March I contacted Sanlam's to hear what happen to the R4500.00 I already invested and was told that it could be paid out to me as it was dormant for more than 15years..What puzzles me it takes 3 weeks?? 3 weeks to pay out a lousy R4500.00??Takes 2 days at SARS!!.. What happens to it the other 19 days?? YOU TELL ME!!!!! Might not be a lot of money for YOU but it does put some food on the table and petrol in my car to get to work!<br> <br> Another question that arose is what happened to the interest that was incurred in that - 15 years??..Doesn't the FAIS Act state that any interest incurred should be paid out to the client? It also states that once upon receiving all documents funds should be transferred in 1 working day!!...
