Sanlam makes use of suspect databases

I receive sms's from Sanlam every day. I did not subscribe, nor gave them permission to sms me. What really makes my blood boil is that: : They call me Mev Douglas, I haven't been Mev Douglas for more than 30 years and it brings back horrible memories. : What's more, they send this SMS to my work phone, a contract registered on the company's name, (the contract is about 4 years old). So... how the hell did they make that link? (a cell no that belongs to my employer for the last 4 years, and that surname, which used to be mine more than 30 years ago. : I will not click on the opt out link, as I do not trust links received from Sanlam!! : Remove my cell number from your database. : Sanlam: Don't ask me to put my cell number here, I wont. Go look for Mev Douglas on your *******ly/ suspect compiled database and take the number linked to that name off your database
