Sanlam indebts their Financial advisors
I was appointed with sanlam as a trainee financial ad visor.

After a few years with Sanlam I decided to take on a new challenge. All my clients that I serviced was placed in Sanlam's hands to service and manage these clients.

Since then Sanlam has indebted me for a amount of R140 000... I couldn't believe it.

Seems unfair to indebt me for clients that Sanlam didn't service and because of that these clients cancelled their policies. To make matters even worse it was sanlam senior personel that lapsed these policies and wrote my clients new policies further indebting myself in the process...

For policies lapsed after I was not in their service... now I owe them 140 000, with debt collectors calling me 24/7, threatening to declare me insolvent etc.

If you are considering getting involved with Sanlam in any way, I would advise against it.

If this is how they treat the employees, how they service clients of employees that have left the company, I would definitely think twice....
