Sanlam Income Protector useless

I made a claim 29 Jan. Only hear back from Sanlam on 19 Feb that they require additional information. I provided the additional information 20 Feb. Hear nothing from them, no requests for further information or anything. Followed up and get told I will have an answer 8 Mar. It came and went. Phoned again 11 Mar and then they stated I will only have an answer 13 Mar, which I then said is unacceptable as this has been ongoing since Jan. Then shortly after they state my claim is declined. On what grounds? According to my payslip I did not make a loss. Who the hell do they think they are to make a decision based on my payslip. Do they know if I worked overtime, did they ask. NO. Did they ask what the pay cycle is. NO.

Why do we have these policies? So that when something happens you are covered.

Quick to take your monthly fees but when it comes to paying. Delay tactics and then don't pay.

Still useless. Using payslips to determine loss of income not taking into account pay cycle. Not taking in account working overtime the other days I was able to work. Just deducting what the average is as loss of income thus the overtime I worked is for free.

What the policy rate is calculate what it is per day and then pay according. Payslips have no relavance
