Sanlam have an easy to use website to make a once-off deposit into your tax free savings account however sadly the website is all for show as there are inadequate processes supporting the transfer of the funds. My funds have been with Sanlam for over two weeks now but have not yet been processed into my investment. On calling the customer care centre they advised "it takes time", "another department handles it", "they cannot contact the new business department directly", "I should contact my financial advisor" (unnecessary fees and paperwork delays). Fix your processes and transfer my funds. It is ********* to hold clients funds for more than two weeks! Why have an online system if it does not work! Service request number ***. Unacceptable!
