Sanlam Gap Cover - Useless & Refuses to Cancel Policy

I've had Sanlam Gap Cover for awhile now, until recently it was Okay - the reason why i say this is because I never claimed. I took it out purely because I was planning a pregnancy and the thought of extra bills just didnt sit well with me. Anyway, I asked that my policy be cancelled on 31 October 2019. I received no help, no emails, no cancellation - in short, they ignored me.

In December 2019, they decided to debt my account with R650 - who gave them the authority, Im still waiting for an answer. A lady contacted me and just explained that its for December & January payment - which again I asked who advised them that they had a right to do. Till today I have no answer as to what is going on there.

So I reversed the money and they still never contacted me. Surprise? no.

I again sent an email to advise that I want to cancel this policy - no ansewer, no phone call, nothing..

They are by far the WORST gap cover insurance I've ever had. So now if they take money off again, I will be forced to block their profile from debiting my account.

Maybe then I'll get an email or phone call to confirm cancellation.

I wont hold my breath though - they useless!

Reviewer Update
They sent me an email stating that they have cancelled my policy effective from 31 October 2019, but now where is my refund then for the premiums that were taken since? No one has called me with regard to this issue.
