Sanlam Gap cover - STAY AWAY - Agents are trained to reject claims
I moved over from Guard risk gap cover to sanlam's gap cover in January 2019. This was my biggest mistake ever as their service is pathetic. I logged a claim on the 8th of Jan 2020 and didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. I then called the call center and found out that my claim was rejected. After questioning why ,it was established that the rejection was in error. I then received a mail with a pre-existing questionnaire on the 21st of Jan 2020., which my doctor needs to complete. I passed this onto my doctor and i am waiting feedback from him. Today, i received a mail from Sanlam Gap cover stating that my claim was rejected, again. I called them to find out that it was in error again as they are still waiting for the completed pre-existing questionnaire from me. It seems that the agents are trained to reject claims without proper consultation. I have a few products with Sanlam and once this issues is resolved, i am definitely moving my portfolio away from them.
