Sanlam Gap cover a way to take your money and leave you still paying the bill

I have had my gap cover with Sanlam for almost 2yrs and this year is the first time that I have ever had the need to use it. when it was sold to me I was told it cover in hospital and specialist shortfalls etc great I had a day admission in hospital in march and was only contacted recently to advise on a shortfall I immediately get my gap cover claims form send in the account get asked for the medical aid statement and send it in and get a email with an attachment stating they do not cover hospital shortfalls what is the damn point of having the gap cover to start with and I call and get told it only specialist so I am paying 300 for specialist shortfall and not hospital I am shocked I want this reviewed and paid because it is utter *******
