Sanlam funeral policy

One would think that a funeral policy would pay out quickly, to cover the costs of a funeral. Not so with Sanlam. My father passed away in 2023. I immediately app**** for the payout. It took them 2 years and 2 months to pay out. I asked them about this. They did not even bother to respond.
