Sanlam / Direct Axis BIG FAT *****

Got an email from Sanlam that said they "reserved a loan of R200,000 for me. So I app**** for a loan of R60,000. The retarded Direct Axis consultant told me my loan was pre-approved and all I needed to do was fax a 3-month bank statement to them (which I did)

Phoned Direct Axis after 5 days and they told me my loan app was not successful because I'm self-employed. Really?! Why do these idiots email me then if they don't assist self-employed people?! Telling me "I'm pre-approved" BIG FAT *****

I've been self emloyed for 17+ years...have an excellent credit record but these idiots tell me I'm not good enough to get a loan because I'm self-employed. Funny though that Std Bank did not have any issues giving me a loan.

I will definitely NOT recommend Sanlam / Direct Axis to anyone. My wife has a life insurance policy with Sanlam which we're going to move over to another company. In fact I will tell all my friends and family not to do business with Sanlam.
