Sanlam delay tactics to make payments.

\At the core of the Sanlam business are promises to different stakeholders. A promise to manage our clients' money in line with their expectations, an undertaking to pay an insurance claim, a commitment to deliver solid shareholder value, a declaration to treat our people with respect and fairness, a compact to be a responsible citizen.\"Desmond Smith, Chairman<br> The above mentioned is what Sanlam trade by.Although, the treatment I received from Sanlam depicts none of the above.I made a claim with them and called them to ask which documents do I need to send to ensure there are no delays and what I needed to state in the affidavits.I did as requested, after their normal reply time, no feedback. I called and was asked to rewrite an affidavit that I previously wrote. After so many follow up and not getting proper feedback on the SARS issue, even after attempts to explain to them I understand they are still busy all I request is a feedback. They send an email stating they are ready to make a payment but I should send another document,I sent it.Then taken in circles again.I would not recommend any of my associates to take a Policy with them. They show no empathy/fairness towards their clients."
