SANLAM ******* DEBITING OF BANK ACCOUNT

My name is Kgothalang Chadwick Mahao from Bloemfontein in Free State. For over the years I had a funeral cover as well as life cover insurances with Sanlam. In December 2024, I found a better life cover than the SANLAM that I am currently having. I cancelled my SANLAM cover to pursue the new life cover. My lame understanding was that once you have cancelled your insurance policy, you have withdrawn your debit order mandate that you have given to the bank, in simple terms, they do not have the rights to go and debit your bank account, or so I thought. But, not SANLAM. On the 25th February 2025 , SANLAM went on to debit my bank account with an amount of R4500-00 . Ever since they have been sending me from pillar to post when I try to get my money back. They even ask for all sorts of documentation from me when they actually had no authority, to start with , to debit my account. Could this be because I am such an insignificant customer to them, therefore they can treat me anyhow? I am just wondering that if SANLAM, can treat its customers this way whilst they are still alive, then what kind of treatment is being meted to ones beneficiaries, when you are no more. SANLAM please, I am begging you, BRING BACK MY MONEY!!!!!!!
