Sanlam Corporate retirement fund policy was taken by Buffalo City tvet college on behalf of its contract employees.My contract expired so I made a withdrawal through Buffalo city college HR, the application was submitted on the 29 of January 2025. Then they sent me a message saying I must expect payment after 30/31 working days. I called and they said there was a technical problem on their side and they were going to escalate the matter. Then I tried contacting them via what’s app after 2 weeks they said there was an outstanding consent form and that I should contact my employer. I contacted HR at Buffalo City college and they confirmed that they submitted all the required documents and they were surprised that Sanlam Corporate hadn’t paid me.They are now not even responding to my what’s app messages. On the 5th of May I called them, they told me that they would escalate the matter again and that Thato Makola was gonna call me. No one has called me.
