Sanlam can't complete simple forms for clients

I am currently employed by the Department of Education, but will be leaving in December. My pension fund now has to be transferred to my Policy at SANLAM. I need SANLAM to complete a form with my policy details…

So, about a month ago, I emailed them with this request and received the standard reply that they are transferring my query to the relevant department and I waited a week for any human reply but nothing… So I resent the mail, receive the same standard reply and still no human contact for another week. So I phone them. Carmelita answers and promises me that she is forwarding it to the relevant department and that I will get the reply soon.

Very grateful, I wait another two weeks before phoning back. No Carmelita answers and gives me another number to phone… So I phone this number, repeating my whole story.

Khensani tells me it is not actually part of her job... By now, I am really irritated with SANLAM and I asked her to transfer my call to the relevant person. Then I were put through to the same voice automation system, but this time, my response was ”invalid”. I phone again, going through everything again, and Khensani answers the phone again but thankfully she gives me the direct number…

I go through the same voice prompt nonsense all over again… Finally I get to talk with “Alvine”. So she said, I need a QUOTE from a BROKER for SANLAM to send me the forms that I require.

Will someone help me? Is it too difficult for to complete a form for a client? I am really disappointed!!!

Thank you for handling my issue effortlessly - I still have no idea why the others were unable to help.
