Sanlam and making people wait 3 months for payouts

They wanted unclaimed benefits documents. Comp**** with them , gave them every document I could. Guess what , it's been three weeks without any communication, they tell you wait for three months for a payment. The administrator must be taking their precious time with money that has to be paid out because wow. Another thing is that Sanlam had claimed there's no money when we enquired, now that they saw there's money it takes so long to come out. It's really frustrating as we want to close the estate account and they are still taking their time. Why is it so difficult to release funds of deceased to estate when all the documents are sent ? Why wait 3 months ?

No I'm going to actually wait the 3 months , I want to show people the way Sanlam operates. I have proof and evidence of what I'm talking about. People are really taken for a ride

We have no updatebon this case ***5 , you guys just keep quiet and expect people to just put ID numbers on public platforms ? You guys pay my mother's estate so my sister can go to school please. Why would it take 3 months to pay out ? Because I had made an enquiry 2 years back and you guys said there was nothing.

Good day Kabelo

We are sorry for the frustration caused. Deceased estate benefits are processed in line with legislative and administrative requirements, and turnaround times may vary depending on verification and compliance checks. For security reasons, we cannot request or receive personal details on a public platform. This is why we asked that the information be shared privately so we could assist further. Without the required details, we are limited in how far we can investigate.

Which legislation says you must take 3 months to process claims ? Because my understanding is that you guys need only a month. You guys are bad , I recommend to anyone reading this to never use sanlam services. They were asked 2 years back and they said there was nothing . Now we are here and seeking for them to pay , they tell you about legislation. I have given you the tracking number or whatever it is. It cannot

Documents were recieved by your people by the 17th of March 2026 , then additional documents were sent by the 31st of March then others followed on the 2nd. The fact that you claim documents were sent on the 8th making thus a very long process , is really just messed up. The fact that I had made an enquiry years back for the same thing we are going from pillar to post about is really baffling. How many more weeks should we wait to finalize claim and cut ties with your company for good ?
